I owe approximately $8,000 to two different credit card companies and am now receiving calls from debt collectors who are asking for my bank account information. While I'm willing to work out a solution, I'm hesitant to provide them with my account details. I'm wondering if they would accept payment via money order. I'm also unsure whether I should be dealing with the collectors or reaching out directly to the credit card companies.
