Caller ID says Harold Beedle. For more than a year we have received calls from this man. Caller ID shows 469-5895, but no area code. Internet search turned up Harold (aka Harrry) Raymond Beedle, age 85, on 2nd Ave in East Haven, CT. Related to Madeleine, Kelly, Maureen, and Stephen, all with surname Beedle. Beedle will call at all times of day and week, but seems to favor weekends. It's not unusual to receive 15 to 20 calls a day from him. He leaves crude, vulgar messages of escalating rage. We have never picked up the phone to confront him. Of course, much of the time we simply are outside or not even home. The calls are particularly disturbing to our children. His messages do not fall into any of the common scam scenarios, as listed below. Sometimes his messages are fantastic: He needs to take somebody to the hospital, but his car is out of gas. ""Pick up the ******* phone,"" he screams. hurling more obscenities. A female voice can be heard in the background egging him on. Has anyone else enjoyed Beedle's wrath?
