Called claiming to be from ppl . Said my service e going to be disconnected for past due balance. Funny! I just paid my bill 2 days ago.

SCAM....Attempting to beat up the vulnerable during this holiday season. This phone number left me a voicemail saying that PPL had a disconnect order due to non payment on my account. The thing is, I do not have PPL as I am a UGI customer, so this is a scam.

Automated call claiming to be a notice from ""PPL"" for power disconnect due to ""nonpayment history."" Sorry, scumbags, but I've never missed a payment and my account with PP&L is current.

Received a voicemail that PPL was going to disconnect my power today due to non-payment. When I called the number in the message back it went directly to a person. That was a huge red flag. They were also very delayed in answering when I told them the reason for my calling. I hung up and called the customer service number on my PPL bill instead.

Automated voice claimed they were from PPL and I was scheduled for a disconnection due to non-payment. Despite what my cell's area code indicates, I am nowhere near PPL's area of service.

recorded Caller from this number 717-431-5989 calls and identifies self as PPL and advises there is a disconnect order for non payment. Then provides option to press zero to be connected to billing. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT EVER GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR ACCOUNT INFORMATION

They called me with the same message & I called them back, when the guy asked what state I lived in that was a red flag I hung up!

Called today and tried to get $300 from me due to non payment on my PPL bill. Im fully paid up and was looking at proof on my account. Do not believe them.

Yesterday 12/29/2020 the number 7174315989 phoned me several times. I couldn't answer it. Later I called it back. I was rejected. I called it later again but there was silence on the other side. I think it is nothing important.
