Number is reported as Scam suspicionReceived an SMS Message from (800) 237 8990 about possible fraudulent charge from MicroSoft. It listed the last 4 digits of my card, which is easily obtained. I also had an online purchase denied on the same day. Not sure if they are related, but will go to my bank in the morning to dig a bit further. |

Number is reported as Scam suspicionThey tried to take 99.95 out of my bank account which was denied due to fraud alert. Then called 2 times this morning about 3 minutes apart which I did not answer. Caller id said United Bank. Do not answer ther calls! They are calling from outside the United States. Came through the bank as ULTCREW. |

Number is reported as Scam suspicionWhile trying to make an unsuccessful purchase from Liberty 2020 Store, my credit card was denied due to possible fraud. Immediately following that event, I received two unexpected phone calls. However, I was aware of the credit card fraud so I refused to pick up the phone. Unfortunately, I do not have caller identification, so I contacted the phone company in order to find out the telephone number for the last caller which was 1-800-237-8990. Question: Was there is a connection between the denial of my credit card information and the two calls? That remains a mystery, but it seems strange that the two events happened together in such a limited time frame. |
