Follow up to previous post He will ask you to turn on your computer don't do it. Tell him he is being reported to FBI if you do answer then hang up
I have also been receiving many calls from this number . The voice sounded like the Indian tech. I called who I believe was involved in freezing my computer and was trying to charge hundreds of dollars to correct the problem. After he unlocked the screen I bailed out. but he did get my phone number. I found that my firewall had been disabled. I found out later The virus that originally showed on my computer could not affect my mac. I'm reporting this number to the FBI scam unit. Ihop you all do the same
These people have been calling me for weeks now and each time they want me to get on my computer, I think this is a scam, they will ask if they can take control of your computer, they will then lock it up and tell you that you have to pay them X amount of $$$$$ to unlock. The caller ID says Etrade.
I have also had several calls from this number and my telephone ID says they are ETrade but it is definitely A tech support scam.
