It’s a scam. Called me and I did not pick up because it was a DC number that I never get calls from so I thought if it’s important they will leave a message. A message was left stating that I have a student application that needs to be finished completing. Problem is I don’t have any debt for student loans. Never took one out in my whole life. Scam ! scam ! scam! Like the other comment say always ask Then to provide info about you. If they can’t it’s a red flag 🚩 🚨🚨🚨
Student Loan Scam. Called me left a message about needing to finish an application I never started filling out. Called back. Asked for a website where I might have started filling an application or for any information about me that might be in their system. The person who answered told me he cannot help me at this time and hung up. Its a scam. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ask THEM for information they have about YOU. Dont just tell them how much debt you have. Ask for their records of your debt. I'm still enrolled so I dont have to repay my debt yet so there is no reason I would be looking into student loan forgiveness.
This number 2027888325 called me yesterday when I was driving. Then it called me again in the morning but I was at work and couldn't answer it. I was trying to call back several times but the line was engaged. I'm sure they will call me again but I feel it's a telemarketer.
