I've now been called twice by this number. Both times, the caller hung up (or was blocked, or was a robocaller system which disconnected when someone answered). NO caller ID the first time; came up as ""Potential Spam"" this time. DC area code suggests political spam (but of course could also be a spoofed number coming from Russian hackers or Chinese bots). The only way garbage like this will stop is if EVERYONE screens their calls instead of just automatically picking up the phone. But given people can't even follow safe practices during a global pandemic (no, the ******* isn't going to implant a tracking device, dummy -- the cellphone glued to your ear is ALREADY doing that -- yeesh, the stupid it burns....
Who called? That's a really good question. And the answer? Someone hiding their identity.... There was NO caller ID whatsoever, just a blank space where there SHOULD have been one, and then the number. It's a DC area code, so probably some derp who believes every theory Q-Anon spouts and accepts it as Gospel Truth™. When the actual truth is that NONE of the BS they say is true....
