205-855-6171 – caller information and user reviews

This call is actually from a telemarketing firm trying to sell extended auto warranties. I turned off my call blocking software to have these callers call in, I think they use some numbers that may be local to my area code to see if I answer and once I did that, the next call came from Abalama (as my Squad Leader in Basic Training used to call his home state). Once their computer verified that there was a human being on this end of the call, a female voice picked up and went in to the spiel and apparently knew what I owned, so they either bought that information from either the dealership who sold me the car, the finance company I'm making payments to, or even my auto insurance carrier. I told the voice that this call was not worth turning off my phone blocking software and she offered to put me on their ""do not call list""...we will see if that happens. In the meantime, the call blocking software is back on.

Got a call this morning. I was at work so didn't answer. I don't call back unknown numbers, which I think is good behaviour because of possible unwanted costs. Some time ago I had call from similar number
