When I called the number back after getting a message that I was going to be charged $299 for a subscription renewal, they said this was for a virus scan program that was part of the package when I purchased my computer. I asked if this was for my MAC (I don't have one) or my work computer they said it was my work computer...I kept the scammer on the line for quite some time asking for an email that I could send to the IT group for my company...Finally got them frazzled enough to hang up lol...Scammers :(
