She asked for our account email. We gave the email but shouldn't have. My wife kept questioning her and the lady finally hung up on her. Not a valid call.
I had a call today saying they were from Amazon and checking to see if I ordered a Computer for $414. I said no I didn't. They said there was 3 other orders on my Amazon account and they would help me get the money refunded. They were very convincing. I went to my Amazon account and there was a ship to address of someone in Chicago listed. To get the money refunded, I was to go to Walmart, Walgreen, or other stores that sold E-Bay cards $100 each and buy 2 cards (this would be refunded to me) so they could put security locks on my account.. I was supposed to do this while they were on the phone with me. I said I couldn't. I had an appointment I needed to go to. So then she wanted me to give them control of my computer so they could correct it. I said I couldn't do that. They were going to call me back in 2 hours so I could go to Kwik Trip to get the E-Bay cards. I was given the number to call them back if needed and the Badge number - AMZ2897 I then called Amazon customer service and they said there was no orders on my account other than what I ordered in January. I was told the ship to address was added to my account about the same time that I received the call from them. I reset all passwords and deleted the ship to address. Amazon said they NEVER call about suspicious activity. As for badge numbers - as per Amazon - they don't use badge numbers, just photo ID's FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD

Got a call from this number, I didn’t answer it because I didn’t recognize it. They left a partial “recorded” message “would honor my cancellation”. Since they didnt identify themselves I felt like it was baiting me to call them back. I didn’t.

Does anybody else getting calls from this number? It called me just few minutes ago 3/22/2020. I didn't answer because I didnt hear it and now I think it is not good idea to call back.
