Appears to be a scam! They want a bank acct number to renew a subscription. BALONEY
I got a gentleman that appeared to be in the early stages of dementia. He had an accent that suggested he was from somewhere in the Emerald Isles. He began telling me that his daughter was smart and was the first one in their family to go to university and had recently suggested that he look into this program. I politely informed him that our conversation had come to and end.
I only caught the last few seconds of this robo-spiel as this robocall didn't listen to MY auto-messge first so most of its message was not recorded. Poetic justice that a scammer's machine wouldn't listen to my machine first and its message was lost. Love my $20 answer machine!
Caller wants to charge my credit card $399.00 for IT service which I allegedly purchased two years ago. The contact email he had was my previous work email. I retired from that company in 2014. He said it was a global IT service and I had to be in front of my computer. The same person called yesterday at about the same time of day, obviously from a foreign country. I had him so frustrated he hung up on me.
This is a scam. They tried to tell me they were charging my credit card for $399.00 for a magazine renewal, in a robocall. Called them back and told the guy I had no subscription and to stop calling me and he hung up. Another foreign guy probably not even in this country!
Scam they want you to call them then they try and get some personal info on you...then someone else will give you a call....SCAM
VM about subscription to global IT which is b.s. as no subscription with them. What's the use of being on a do not call list if they still call you!!!!!!
Calls saying it is from IT Globaltech or something along those lines, states that your subscription will be renewed in the amount of $399 in 24 hours unless you call to cancel, when I called to tell them that I never order anything from them they hung up on me
Yesterday the number 2082032629 phoned me a few times. I couldn't answer it. Later I called it back. I was rejected. I called it later again but there was silence on the other side. I think it is nothing important. Probably telemarketer with another ad or an invitation.
