A woman called and said she was with the IRS a wrecked car had been found with 20 different IDs and drugs. Social security numbers and bank accounts, then a man came on the line and identified himself as a DEA Officer and wanted more information, by then my friend who has high blood pressure and other health issues was so worked up he passed the phone to me, i asked to who I was speaking and he again identified himself as a DEA agent. I told him I did not believe him and I thought he was a scam artist and hung up. We went to the Sheriff's Office and they didn't even bother to take the number, she said it is so common and a scam. Hang up. They, all the agents do NOT call. They send letters or show up with warrants. SCAM. Hope someone catches these awful people.
