Computer-generated voice says ""call 217-284-9357 to renew your subscription."" It adds that if you're not the subscriber, to also call the number. It doesn't mention the type of subscription, nor does it mention any names, theirs or yours. This has every sign of a bad phone scam. I deleted the message.
Calling to renew computer antivirus subscription. Claims to be able to handle ALL antivirus companies. Will renew subscription for ONLY $299.00 USD. Wouldn't tell me the last 4 digits of CC number only the subscription number. This REEKS of a SCAM.t This guy had a VERY heavy accent and was hard to understand. Would not five his company name or location, a TRUE RED FLAG for a SCAM. When I told him I prefer to deal directly with a company, he hung up on me.
Does anybody else getting calls from this number? It called me just few minutes ago 9/23/2020. I didn't answer because I didnt hear it and now I think it is not good idea to call back.
