Someone calling mentioning a charge on my credit card. Couldn't understand the dollars portion. They said if I didn't make that purchase, to call Amazon support at this number. Not going to call. It's a scam. I've also received spam emails stating I had placed an order in the thousands of dollars via PayPal. I checked PayPal. Nothing there either. Delete!
This number called and said they were Amazon. Said a large charge had been made and they wanted to verify the purchase before sending the merchandise.
Is anybody getting calls from the number 2172952558 ? Called me a few times recently but I didn't answer, I was at work. Do you think it's a good idea to call it back? to be honest, I'm afraid of any unwanted costs. Happened to me in the past.
