Just received call about a $299 auto renewal call on who knows what. Tried to look up caller. PORTECEL and could not find anything listed under that name. Beware.
Called and left me a message regarding auto renewal. They said to call within 24hrs if I wanted to cancel. The message did not say what was the subscription. When I called to cancel I asked what subscription is this for and they told me it was for my computer anti-virus software and named a company I have never heard of. He told me to ""trust me"" and wanted to talk me through logging in and cancelling my subscription from my computer. I told him I did not trust him, that I believed this to be fraud and hung up.
Called and left a message saying if call not returned, would take $299 from checking account for a subscription. Did not return call.
Do not answer. Shortly after call. My credit card was charged by COMCAST.
They called me from the number 2172952560 No message left. Not calling them back. Waste of my time. I do not know who this is nor do I answer calls from people I don't know. If you don't leave a message I won't call you, and more than likely if I don't know you I won't call you back.
