My phone rang once, then stopped. A few seconds later, a man was putting my WallMart order into my enclosed porch. I'm assuming he tried to text me to let me know I was getting my delivery. My phone isn't a cell phone, it's a wired phone. So, it wouldn't receive a text. All good!
I received a phone call tonight from this phone number. Just before the phone call I received a text from this phone number. Text said as follows: “Hi, this is DoorDash connecting you to your Dasher for updates about your order. Walmart item by the door“ Seconds after the text came in the same phone # rang my cell phone using the same number as the text, a man was on the other end and said “we left a package by your door, should I wait for you? I don’t want anyone to steal it like like they do in the other town nearby (he mentioned the name of the crime laden town). I thought he was real. I told him I couldn’t get to the door and to please leave the package at the door. I was unavailable at the time. When I opened my door 10 minutes later no package was there and no Doordash delivery man either. I really don’t get what the phone call or text msg was about. A bit unnerving. Beware of this phone number and scams like this.
