(240) 473-2376 called me @ 7:35 PM EDT. Caller ID showed College Park, MD As the previous commenter said - I have a non-pub # and am on the DNC Registry. I put a call blocker on my phone - it rings once and disconnects unknown callers.
One of the things I have discovered with scam / robo calling is this: There are companies who buy blocks of phone numbers to run their scams in; that is why it seems the numbers run concurrently. I block every single one of these I get, every time. If you are lucky, and able to look the number up on the internet, and come across websites that have lists of these numbers and the reason why they are ""scammy"", I block every single one of those also. MUCH more peaceful that way!
I would receive this phone number 2404732376 on my landline at home for the past month. They are calling mostly during the day time. The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number. Maybe it is a telemarketer, even though my unlisted phone number is on the Do Not Call list.
