Received message that my checking account card would be charged $299 for an auto renewal if I didn't call back and cancel. Total scam. Did not call them back and did not answer call.

It is a scam. They left a message some service we were subscribed to was going to auto renewal in 24 hours and $299 was going to automatically come from our checking account. The message said I had to call to cancel if I did not want to auto renewal. I called back using a genetic flip phone we keep around for emergencies and an Indian fellow picked up. I knew immediately this was a scam because I could hear Hindi in the background and understood enough to pick up they were scamming. These are a blight to other Indians and it's not uncommon for citizens to raid these call centers. They are terrible for everyone. Do not call this number back. It is a complete scam.

Got a call this morning. I was at work so didn't answer. I don't call back unknown numbers, which I think is good behaviour because of possible unwanted costs. Some time ago I had call from similar number
