Received call from this number before claiming is WellCare and important to call. One this number is nowhere affiliated with them and two, they never, ever call. Trick is to make it sound important to some varying degree but never claims why. Big red flag. Avoid.
Have had two calls from this number, both identifying themselves as from my prescription insurance carrier and asking me to update and clarify some issue. Older female voice sounded professional and message was fairly long so call gave the appearance of being valid. However, one call came in on a Sunday night and the other late on a Saturday afternoon which made me suspicious. I did not answer either call.
Just rec'd a call from 267 954-9957. The number was not in my phone book and I have a habit of not answering unknown numbers. They did leave the same message as the Well Care listing but when I looked up Well Care this number did not appear anywhere in their listing. This week I rec'd several calls from several different numbers, one even said I would be arrested if I did not call back. All calls were from different numbers, and different cities. Only two calls left messages. I did not return any of the calls.
I think this is a scam to get my ID. They say it's from my medicare insurer.
Two days ago on the 12/6/2020 this number 2679549957 tried to call me. I answered the phone but there was nobody on the other side. I decided to call it back but we were cut off. I thought it was a problem with connection so I called it again but this time the number 2679549957 was engaged. If it something important I'm sure they will call me again
