As above “The caller says they are a pharmacy and they are contracted with our PPO Insurance company to cover things like vitamins, creams for stretch marks, fungal issues, dry skin, etc.” I never gave them a chance. I hung up. They call from other numbers telling the same story.
The caller says they are a pharmacy and they are contracted with our PPO Insurance company to cover things like vitamins, creams for stretch marks, fungal issues, dry skin, etc. They confirm your name and address and then also record your voice saying yes to the question of allowing their Dr. Lawrenc Sherman to call in scripts for the above items you might need. They ask you the name of your current doctor. They then ask you for your insurance information which I did not provide. The caller called me a week or so ago while I was driving out of state and then they called my husband today in the same manner. My husband ended up hanging up. I feel like the whole thing is suspicious and wierd. Sure we'd like our vitamins and maybe cream for dryness for free, but this seems more like a fishing call for information to steal a persons information to use and steal health coverage and have it charged to your insurance company. I'm not sure I feel they can be trusted, it just seems fishy...
