I received a call and VM from ""Ms. Wilson"" asking for me to return their call at this number and have a Consumers statement available to go over her concerns on charges related to natural gas usage. I deleted it and blocked the number.
A Ms. Wilson left me a voice mail stating that she needed to talk with me about the supply charges on my Consumers Energy natural gas statement. She did not state my name, nor did she state my account number. Also, this is not the number for Consumers. This is definitely a scam. I'm guessing they are phishing for PII that can be used in identity theft.
They left a voice mail claiming they’re calling about the gas consumer energy statement and to call back and have the statement ready to review. The thing is I currently rent an apartment and gas is included in rent and I don’t have consumer gas in my name so it’s evidently a scammer trying to get my personal information.
When an unknown number like the one 2694575002 is calling I never answer. I don't like telemarketers. If it was something important they would leave a voice message. But they didn't. I think it is another telephone ad.
