Definite scam. They released a virus that crashed your PC and put up a message box with their phone number. A system reset would have restored everything. They got some money from me to ""install a special firewall"". Six months later, they are calling me 4-6 times a day. I answered once, and the ""level five technician"" ordered me to download and install a program that would give them control of my PC remotely.
