Automated call stating a problem with SSN. The message went on to say that I needed to call or benefits would be discontinued. Of course I did not call! Please beware of calls like this! Social Security Administration would send you a letter NOT call. If you have parents or know someone receiving benefits, and they are elderly, please tell them not to fall for this SCAM! These ruthless individuals will scam anyone and everyone, even their own parents and friends! This number probably belongs to someone else and this criminal is using it as a way to hide their identity or appear legitimate.
