Robocall claiming there's legal action against my social security number. Obvious spam.
The recorded message said that there was criminal activity attached to my social security number, and I needed to call their number before they proceed with legal actions against my Social Security account. Yet again another bogus call - robocall. I blocked the number subsequently.
The recorded message said that there was criminal activity on me and I needed to call their number before they proceed with legal actions against my Social Security account which everyone knows is illegal and you would never receive a phone call about an issue on your Social Security account. I received the same recorded message yesterday from a different phone number.
Got a call from this phone number today in the morning 8/6/2020 , they left no message. It is risky to answer any unknown calls. In a lot of cases they get paid for every pick up call even though they don't get to fleece you. If it's anybody important or that you know they will leave a message on voice mail.
