Called twice in a row. Left threatening voicemails within minutes. I was ready for a battle so I called them back and a woman with a thick foreign accent said ""Social Security Administration"" - so I said I am speaking with the Social Security Admin to which she said YES. I then asked her name and CLICK - she hung up
recieved this say there was suspicous activity on my SS account and to please call this number. I know that Social Security does not call, they normally send a letter.
Got a call from this phone number today in the morning 9/30/2020 , they left no message. It is risky to answer any unknown calls. In a lot of cases they get paid for every pick up call even though they don't get to fleece you. If it's anybody important or that you know they will leave a message on voice mail.
