This time I just heard it was a recording about my SSN number being suspended.Then i hung up.
Claimed to be from Social Security (I've dealt w/SS within past couple yrs way too noisy to be true) & I immediately questioned how can this be if he doesn't speak English which he ignored. I didn't give him time to ask me questions simply stated if you need info from me send verified letter. TOTAL SCAM!!
They also will give you their name and a badge number or federal officer number. That's fake also.
They have your name, address, phone number and month and date of your birthday. Sounds very noisy in the background. They say your social security has been compromised in - they name a state. THIS IS A SCAM. Don't call them back or give any info.
