This was either a scam call or illegal banking practices. A person called today (11/14/22) from +1 (303) 242-3252 and the Caller ID was Comenity Bank. I have a AAA Visa with them (it was recently transferred from Bof A). The person claimed that I needed to make a credit card payment over the phone by paying with the credit card. My payment is not due until 12/07/22. Interestingly, I had just made a payment by mail and was trying to explain that to him. He continued to ask for a credit card to make the payment. He had my name and contact information, along with the specifics about my card, including amount of my payment due. As such, it is clear that my information was breached from the bank, or it was someone from the bank. Either way, I am a lawyer and know that if it was the bank, it constituted fraudulent banking practices so I hung up on him.
Called me twice in one day, when I answered each time no one was said anything. Waste of my time. They called from the 3032423252 . Today 5/8/2020 early in the morning
