Just got called by this phone number 1 316 962 2000 , possible scam call. Voice recording stated I should press 1 for more information. Supposedly related to Homeland Security and Border Patrol and a package... Very suspicious... I hung up, and immediately researched this phone number, and found others reports of suspicious activity.
Several phone calls received from this phone number. I returned the call and reached Wesley Hospital, Wichita, KS. I dialed it I spoke with switchboard operator. She said number is registered to the hospital and is not used for outgoing calls. Operator reporated receiving several calls this morning in response to phone appearing on caller ID. Assumption: spoofing of phone number is occurring.
This is a scam number. I thought it was important as I thought it was from Wesley Hospital. Some foreigner was trying to get me to take a back brace that Medicare would pay for. Just wasted my time.
