321-417-0979 – Scam suspicion report

They probably used a spoofed number but I received a call from this number from a guy who said he was calling from "medicare verification department" and so I asked him point blank if he was calling from medicare and he said yes so I said what is your contact number and he said the number is on your card so I said you're calling from medicare and you don't know the number and he said I know the number so I said you know the number and you won't give it to me let me speak to your supervisor and he said I am the supervisor and I said no you aren't I would like to escalate this issue let me speak to your supervisor and he said fk and hung up on me. He had a slight Indian accent. We have received previous calls from similar marketers who say they are calling to verify the information on the medicare card. This is a scam people use to get the personal information on the medicare card. Please do not give these people the information they ask for. If you need to, call medicare yourself and ask them about this call but only call medicare by using the phone number on your card.
