It all seems suspicious to me, especially since this number is marked as a SPAM POTENTIAL on my cell. I believe they're preying on people in need of help/who might be desperate. She said something about them not asking for $ (so you help people for free? Doubtful). Based on another comment here, they'll end up asking for a credit card and giving a bogus reason for needing it. My advice? Don't trust them. Don't give them any personal information. Don't answer. Don't call back.
scammer telling me he needs my credit card number so he can check to see when my stimulus check will be deposited. i told him i don't need a credit card number for that, and he said oh, you're right, instead i need your routing and account number and we can make sure your check is deposited today. then went on to ask me if i have any scrap metal for sale.....wtf?
I would receive this phone number 3462184567 on my landline at home for the past month. They are calling mostly during the day time. The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number. Maybe it is a telemarketer, even though my unlisted phone number is on the Do Not Call list.
