I received a call from this number and did not answer. A recorded message was left stating I was going to be charged $399 to my checking account or plastic card which is attached to their system within 24 hours for the auto renewal of my subscription. It then said I could call them back to cancel. I decided to call back from a different phone number to see what info I could get. I explained I had received a message and wanted to know what the subscription was for. They said it is for computer services, for firewall protection and maintenance. I told them I don't have a computer. The rep asked if I have a work laptop. I confirmed that I do but mentioned that I did not purchase the computer or any programs on the computer or services associated with the computer. The rep reiterated that I needed to cancel the service to avoid being charged. I asked why they are calling me instead of my employer, who would have been the ones to purchase any services. He said that he can see in his database that my work computer has that service. I asked what information he has in his database. He asked me to confirm that I have a windows computer. I told him I do not and asked again what information he has about me in their database. He gave me the phone number he claims they had (which was the number I was calling from and NOT the number they had called originally). I asked him what name he has associated with that phone number and he gave a name that was not mine. I told him that is not my name and then mentioned that I was not calling from the number they had called originally. He asked if I was from California and when I told him I was not, he started speaking in another language and hung up.
Stated that they were calling on behalf of Geek Squad subscription about to renew for $699 sounds like a scam. Sounds like they are in India.

Does anybody else getting calls from this number? It called me just few minutes ago 8/28/2020. I didn't answer because I didnt hear it and now I think it is not good idea to call back.
