I didn't answer the call. A male voice left a message about something for $999.00 ready to ship to my ""mentioned address"" -- odd wording. If I wanted to change any details, I was to call the number. I didn't order anything from Amazon, and I didn't return the call. Thanks for being a scam info crowd source.
Automated call advising that a suspicious charge for a $989 iPhone had been made to my Amazon credit card and to press 1 to speak with someone about the charge. Started to speak with them because of all the fraud that has been happening from a variety of sources then noticed that the phone number did not look right for any of our credit cards. Hung up and called Amazon from the number on the card. Advised that there was no pending charge of that amount or product. Advised to send them info as this is a common type of scam called “phishing” to try and get your true credit card info.
This number 4063596600 called me yesterday and early this morning. I thought it was something important. I'm returning this call now but there is no answer. I'm trying again and now it seems I'm losing the connection. Pretty strange. I think I will ignore this number.
