I have received a couple of calls from this number. I will not answer it and they won't leave a voice mail. I tried to call it but it goes to a voice mail saying the number is unavailable.

Harmless, it was yahoo verifying a sign in to my email from a new computer of mine. This call was inbound to me. Gave me a 6 digit number so I could safely sign in. It was per me request option. Could have had a code sent to an alternate email, I chose "Phone Call" option.. No sweat, 100% safe

No voice, no sound, just a beep. Hacker, scammer, phishing, Spam, fake marketing, I did Block & report this number.

call in the middle of the night and left a message that stated it was trying to verify access through a 2 step system and to press 1 to retrieve a verification code.

What are they calling for. I have been hacked so many times that i trust no one wanting any information from me. Their number is 1 408 610 4900 and 1800-741 7610

It's harmless. It's just Yahoo verifying your email account.

This number is a SCAM DO NOT CLICK IT, it is a yahoo may be aol too? , has return us all the calls that we want a verification call back code. we use firefox and bing browser. Maybe change firefoxand browser; might resolve the problem. Please advise pleople about these. Thank you. People who are hackers and ruin this beautiful technology that is needed for all our life being (I mean connecting with everything we do) should use their intelligence for something good and the world would be better to live in it. Us people will have one less worry to think about.

Received call from 408 619 4900, the guy said he was soliciting money for children on behalf of Police. I told him I am retired law enforcement and volunteer with an Organization-CASA helping children who have experienced trouble at school or with Police. I declined to donate money - He got nasty and hung up. I have been contacted before 4 times.

Suspicious AOL verification code.

I received a call versus text to verify but it happened too many times. I have been dealing with major hacking of email accounts and more. I believe it might be easier for hackers to keep their hands in your email without your knowledge if they are able to generate the Verify code via a call versus a text.

This appears to be valid, at least I hope so. I was resetting my AOL password and had my phone number in AOL to receive a code from AOL to do so. I thought I'd get a text but received a phone call from this number that gave me a code which reset my password. No other correspondence was received from AOL so, since I requested this information, I'm hoping it was valid and not a scam

It is AOL or Yahoo! calling to verify login credentials. If you did not make an attempt to log in to AOL or Yahoo! then someone else did.

I received a call from this number on my prepaid cell phone. My phone number is on the do not call registry. I do not know anyone who lives in San Jose. Based on the number of inquiries on this site, I assume this is either spam or fraud— I don’t know which since I did not answer and there was no message left.

AOL called with a number to use to sign into my account.

yahoo.mail-- login, ""yahoo"" supposedly wanted to verify cell, so clicked on cell number, and immediately a call came from this number. Ignore was the response by us. Rebooted pc and now no verify obstacles.

I received a call from 408-610-4900 today and did not answer. It left an electronic message just reciting numbers so I considered it spam. I Call ID checked it and it just came up “VERIFY.” I googled that and there is an agency called Verify that serves as an investigative bureau for Kare 11 News, which is apparently a news channel which claims to publish only truthful content and uses Verify to literally “verify” stories and topics being discussed online/social media. I do not know for sure if this call was from that agency as I did not answer or speak with anyone regarding this call. It’s just the best lead I have in regards to who it “might” be. It is good that there are such pages. It is easy to find out who called you. But this time I didn't find answer who called me. Anybody can help me to find it out ??. I'm searching info about number 4086104900 . They called me already three times. The first call was 12/24/2019
