I too got a call saying (only last part of the message) that they had my social security number, Bank account etc. t believe this to be a scam as well. I did not answer the phone and they left the message on voice mail.i never answer the phone if I don’t recognize the number.
A call saying there was a legal action against my social security, bank account and other assets. When transferred they ask for social security number saying it's an IRS matter.
Someone called me from the number 4694818580 . After the phone quits ringing and goes to Voice Mail they hung up and didnt leave any voice message. I suggest to not answer the phone when the caller phones you. The caller may want to know what time/day you pick up the phone to know when you are home, so they would know when to call you again.
