Another scam trying to scare you about fraudulent use of your SS number. Do not respond.
They called when I was unable to answer the automated call left a voice message that was already running when my recording started. What I captured was “ Begin with the legal proceedings that is 469-754-3526 I repeat 469-754-3526 thank you…” I immediately knew it was a scam but what the heck let’s have some fun and not give them any information. So I called. 1ST They answered SOCIAL SECURITY ... long story short they wanted my name nope not getting my name to go with my phone number they ended up hanging up when it was clear that I was on to them and they were not getting any information.
Someone called me from the number 4697543526 . After the phone quits ringing and goes to Voice Mail they hung up and didnt leave any voice message. I suggest to not answer the phone when the caller phones you. The caller may want to know what time/day you pick up the phone to know when you are home, so they would know when to call you again.
