Phishing attempt: received an alleged SMS from Wells Fargo about suspicious activity, placing the account on hold, and then asking to use their link to login and verify identity. Yeah sure.
Recevied an alleged Bank ATM card alert text message - hold placed on account, click her to verify transaction. The destination URL, though, was not to a bank web site, and the page displays a real looking bank login screen. Separately logged into my bank via my PC web browser and verified that no alerts had been issued. This is a scam number.
Got a call on June 11, 2020 from 470-437-4098 on my cell marked as a SCAM call which I did not answer. Caller left a message: Call back at this number before beginning legal proceedings.
Received a (automated) message stating to call this number back to avoid legal action. When I called the number back got an automated message saying they can't get to the call. Highly suspicious
Received a message stating to call this number back to avoid legal action. When I called the number back the person said they were from the Social Security Office. I asked who they were trying to contact and they hung up on me.
The number 470-437-4098 was blocked by my cell phone carrier as highly suspicious. Woman's electronic voice, speaking English, message : ""Call this number before legal proceedings are begun"".
Called stated legal action was pending and I need to call them back
First they left a voice mail saying to call before legal action was taken. I called them back twice and they answered saying, ""Department Social...[unreadable]"" I asked ""who"" and they hung up.
I got 6 calls from this number in a total of 4 minutes, all blocked by my phone's fraud protector so nothing rang through. Clearly a scam of some sort.
It is good that there are such pages. It is easy to find out who called you. But this time I didn't find answer who called me. Anybody can help me to find it out ??. I'm searching info about number 4704374098 . They called me already three times. The first call was 6/11/2020
