Called saying they were from the SSA and someone was using my mother's SS# and needed to know what banks she uses. When I called back, twice a accented female answered and hung up when I said I was returning their call. Called back twice more and a accented male answered with same results. Remaining attempts to call said it could not go through.
could be an IRS, Social security or some other scam. message said to call back as soon as possible before legal action is taken. it a SCAM but i didn't get enough of the message to tell what kind.
This number 5012551030 called me yesterday and early this morning. I thought it was something important. I'm returning this call now but there is no answer. I'm trying again and now it seems I'm losing the connection. Pretty strange. I think I will ignore this number.
