I am the same commenter who posted the last response. This is the second time ""Paul Smith"" has called me, 10 minutes after the first confrontation and after getting added to the blacklist. Keep playing stupid games, win stupid prizes, lady. Go get an honest job, moron.
Scammer lady called claiming to be from ConEd. I asked her why it showed up on search results as a scam number and the fact that ConEd communicates using letters, asked her to stop calling my number, and added it to my phone's blacklist. Now they are using US based scam callers, with US speakers, so it makes it a bit harder to discern. Usually one can tell very quickly for Indian/Southeast-Asian scam callers due to heavy accents.
They call me and I don’t even live in that area code no answer since my youngest answer!
Called me and said they were from Con Ed (my electric company) and they wanted to know if I received my $100 refund. When I asked why Con Ed was calling from an upstate NY number they hung up on me.
The caller tried to make it seem like they were from my electric utility, but my sense is they were from some scammy independent energy supplier.
