User reviews for 531-295-2982
Same here. I received a prerecorded call supposedly from Amazon about an expensive order being prepared for delivery. They wanted me to press 2 to speak with an agent. I checked my Amazon account and there was no such order.
Got a voicemail from this number claiming to be Amazon and saying an $800+ payment had been confirmed for an order. The automated message asked me to press 2 if I had questions. I never made this purchase, so this is clearly a scam.
This number is a scam posing as amazon. I am putting this out there to let you all know if you get a call from this number. The message is an Ai or pre-recorded, I let it go to voicemail. Message: Hello, this is David from Amazon. We've confirmed the payment of $800, $49 for delivery. Hash OD, 8,573. Your items are currently being prepared dot. If you have any query regarding the item, please contact us or press 2 to speak with an agent. Thank you for your purchase today. Don't engage with them as I have a feeling it is an Ai scam that will use your voice to gain access to things.
