Claimed to be from Spectrum but when I asked why they called since I was on he no call list the person got a case of ""smarty pants"".
Middle aged woman with a southern twang said she was a Blue Cross rep, saying there was a special open enrollment due to covid, which was great for me since i lost coverage from blue cross a few months ago. They had my name, email, and zip, which i confirmed. i told her to call back the next day since i was busy but i was interested in coverage. she then asked for my birthdate despite me asking for them to call back the next day, which is when i knew it was a scam. after the call i googled ""blue cross covid open enrollment,"" and found nothing, which is when i confirmed it to be a scam.
