My elderly, Spanish-speaking mother received a call from this number claiming her electricity bill was unpaid and would soon be disconnected. The caller spoke Spanish with what sounded like a Spain-based accent, which is unusual for our area in California. The call showed as coming from Seal Beach, while we’re in Long Beach. Also, her bills are set to automatic payments, so this doesn’t make sense. If you have elderly family members, it’s best to block this number.
Caller stated there was an issue with an electric bill and possible service interruption. Given that billing is handled automatically, the call seems inconsistent and potentially suspicious.
Received a call claiming an unpaid electric bill with a warning about disconnection. The call was unexpected, and the details did not match the account setup, which raises concerns.
