Foreign speaking gentleman said he was from the TN DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. My son was recently around a person that had tested positive for COVID, and was sent home from school as a precaution. I gave him no personal information, he was asking about my son's health and if he had symptoms. I don't know if this is valid, a scam, or an actual call from the TN DOH. I don't mind helping the TN DOH in follow ups --- but why would have a gentleman that can barely speak English? I only answered COVID related questions and hung up.
I am a contact tracer in Tennessee and we call on behalf of the TN Department Of Health. This phone number is for TNDOH case and contact monitoring, a part of contact tracing and is absolutely legitimate.

We also got a call stating it was from the health department regarding COVID tracing and contact . They said they’ll be calling everyday but haven’t heard back from them since. They called on aug 2nd.
