Said they were from DTE about my business (which I no longer have) that I am eligible for discounts. She asked me to get my latest bill to review. While I made her wait, I started searching this phone number which brought me here. But while I was doing that, she made a comment about me being so organized that I didn't have to switch to another app on my phone to look at the information. Considering I've worked in the IT industry for 25 years, that HUGE red flag made me ask how would she know that I didn't switch to another app. The moment she mentioned looking at a Google program on her screen, I hung up, blocked the number, the deleted it. The called back while doing it, but I ignored it. NO ONE should be able to detect whether or not I switch apps on my own phone!!!! That's just creepy!
Got a call from this phone number today in the morning 4/19/2020 , they left no message. It is risky to answer any unknown calls. In a lot of cases they get paid for every pick up call even though they don't get to fleece you. If it's anybody important or that you know they will leave a message on voice mail.
