Correction to post listed as a SSN svam. Actually is a medicare scam
A man who identified himself as Jess Parker with medicare called regarding whether I had received my new plastic medicare card. I immediately knew it was a scam but continued to listen to him as he rattled off my address and date of birth. He then read an alleged new medicare number to me and asked for my old one. When I refused to give him my number he got extremely irritated with me. I then told him I was aware that his call was a scam and that he should stop preying on seniors. I then hung up. The man had a foreign accent.
Never a good sign when someone calls but leaves no message; sorry, but the only way to reach me when I don't recognize number is to leave a voice message. They called me today early morning 5/14/2020
