Gave very Caucasian names but everyone involved spoke with an accent, had an ID but the case number was very odd (small number). Claimed to be from Texas but phone is from San Diego Ca. Would not give me a way to independently verify who they were by calling them back to a federal number. Wanted me to drive to the Sheriff's Dept. While they were on the phone. Claimed there was a warrant for my arrest in another state but the actual Sheriff's office had no knowledge about it. When told I would verify it independently, was given a time limit.
I don't know how many times this number 6198660518 called me. I think it keeps calling since last week 2/24/2021. In the beginning they called me in the morning but yesterday and today in the afternoon. Maybe they want to check which part of the day I am able to answer the phone. That's why I think it is a telemarketer.
