They called and said they were charging my card $299 for Iyobi Spyware I had o. My laptop which has ended its trial period. I advised I didn't want it, when caller suggested I open my laptop and he would help me remove the program from my laptop. I believe he was trying to gain access to my information in my computer. He was going to transfer me to his supervisor for my refund. His name is Christopher Williams with a very heavy Asian accent. He indicated he would call me back in 2 hours when I would be home. Glad I researched this phone number.
Received 5 calls from this number today. Spoke to a man with a heavy Indian accent claiming to with iyogi to confirm they will be charging me 299 dollars. I've never heard of this ""company"" nor have I bought anything from anyone related to the computer industry. This has got to be a scam!
19 calls today sept 22, 2020 claiming to bill me $299.00 for a computer renew fee from IYogi called them back and it’s a call center in India. Told them I didn’t have an IYogi company and if I got charged I would dispute the charges, they hung up after calling me an a$$ hole. It’s another India scam. Btw I called them back 19 times too to tie up their lines until they blocked my number.
Left message that I would be billed $299 to renew a ""computer support"" plan that I'd never heard of. I phoned the number and got a call center operator in India. When I asked the name of the company and their location, he hung up.
Claiming to be iYogi computer support from India. That they were going to bill my CC for $299 for support renewal. US govt. sued them and had them shut down 2 years ago. Is a scam company.
It is good that there are such pages. It is easy to find out who called you. But this time I didn't find answer who called me. Anybody can help me to find it out ??. I'm searching info about number 6672184057 . They called me already three times. The first call was 9/22/2020
