669274570 called me this morning at 10:30.My cell stated, “scam likely.” Sometimes I call these scam or spam calls back for it is possible that it was not scam. When calling back I got a busy signal and the 2nd time I called the phone picked up but the party would not speak.A good way I found of determining scam calls is when I pick the call up. I do not say anything & wait for them to talk.If the do not say anything after 10 seconds, hang up and block them.A new scam is going on now from Cherry Creek NY. They state my vehicles warranty from the factory for certain recalled parts is running out and I will no longer have coverage after a certain date. I talked to the guy and played it off to them saying I would not want that to happen, what should I do. Then I ask what vehicle? He stated a 2011 Toyota.I have a 2005. What dummies. If you r going to try and swindle someone at least have the correct information. Any call that comes in with a 1 in front of it, I will not pick it up.If it is important they will leave a message.On suspicious scam spam calls and I am not sure what the call is in reference to, sometimes I will pick up, say nothing and wait for them to say something but 9X out of 10 they will not say anything and hang up.On some calls I pick up and state,”pease state your name and nature of your business.” Another way of determining if it is spam or scam is picking up and asking ,”Hello, is this a emergency?”The scammer will hang up. Once in a while I like to play with them. Especially the calls and letters from fraudulent bill collectors. I will act distraught and say, “Oh no, I do not want any trouble from the IRS, they may send me to prison.” Then I will give them a ******** 16 digit Visa Cc #, after giving them the number the *** hangs up. If you hear a busy office sound in the background that is ******** too.It is a recorded canned sound emitted from a recorder to add drama and try fake authenticity from the sound of a serious busy office. Then you have Dr.’s whom fraudulently and sometimes intentionally act as they made a mistake on the billing code by using a different digit in the code that will pay $4000 instead of $1000. The insurance companies do not look into these billing procedures intently. Next thing I know, I am getting a $ 4400 bill from the insurance company for the doctor so called”made a mistake.” People. Please be leery, be cautious. Be SMART. There are a lot of players out there.

SCAM ALERT: call back # the phone picks up but NO one addresses the phone.

I would receive this phone number 6692740570 on my landline at home for the past month. They are calling mostly during the day time. The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number. Maybe it is a telemarketer, even though my unlisted phone number is on the Do Not Call list.
