“Received a call today saying from PPL and they were issuing a disconnect order today. I don't have PP&L. (which is another clue in the name). Don't press 2 and don't answer the calls from these folks.”

this is a scam and they are using different numbers. PPL is not cutting anyones service because of Covid. Do not offer to pay them anything, Call PPL first.

I did not answer but called right back, they said it was ppl and I was scheduled for a disconnect today. Indian man answered and asked if I wanted to make a payment , I said...I don't owe you money, he hung up and took his phone off the hook.

Called and left the same message as others said. We called PP&L directly and they said our power is not in danger of being turned off. They took down the number and said they will be reporting it to their supervisor. This is a SCAM! If you have any issues call the number for PP&L that is on your bill. Do not call this number! Stimulus checks are going out so scammers will be trying to prey on those that don’t know any better. Get a real job losers!!!

This is a scam call. Voicemail saying power would be shut-off today due to non-payment. Interesting, seeing as how I have no utility connected to my name or phone number. Another red flag is that they ""PPL"" instead of ""PP&L"".

Received a phone call from this number told me power would be shut off for non payment. Stated I had made a payment from ppl’s online site. Told me they couldn’t see it and that I would have to download the “Zell” app to make a payment or power would be disconnected. Call ppl directly they saw my posted payment. Not sure who the people were that called me but they definitely were NOT ppl!!!!!!!!!!
