Fake Geek Squad number. Possibly originates from India/Pakistan. Says I'll be charged $499.00 and 99 cents if I don't renew otherwise service will start. Reported it to FTC.

Definitely SCAM. Call to cancel fake subscription to Geek Squad and asked to give financial info or access to your computer to let them ""help you"" cancel on-line. Ignore and avoid - unless you can spin up a Linux session in a virtual machine, have decent hacking skills and want to play with them. They used very impolite language once they discovered that I had taken over their computer while they were trying to take over mine.

I live in California and got a robo-call from this number (the 786 area code is Florida) before the sun was up here. Recording said service would be renewed unless I called 786-698-4197 but couldn't make out what service the male voice said, sounded like ""nine cents."" Didn't call the number because it sounds bogus.
