I received a call from this number. They claimed to be a debt collector looking for payment on a medical bill, or they would report it to the credit bureau. They said it was for lab work on a specific date, but I did not have lab work on that date 2 years ago. I called my healthcare provider, and they never heard of the diagnostic lab the caller referenced. I asked them to send me the info via email, but I have not received anything. I called the number back and got a recording to leave a message, but the inbox was full. I tried to call again, and I got ""John."" He did not answer with a company name just, John, so I asked what his company is, and he said a collection agency. I asked what the name of the agency is and he hung up.
I received a telephone call from this number, (786) 746-6811, today at approximately 12:45 PM. The caller said she was calling from Medicare and needed me to verify some information because my card needed to be replaced. She had my address and birth year correct. She had my first and last names correct. But when she asked about my middle name, a red flag popped up. So, I asked, ""Why do you need this information from me? If you work at Medicare as you said, you should have all that information."" The caller said something about I need to contact Social Security and hung up. I truly believe I was about to be scammed. Please be aware of this phone number. Don't give any personal information to the caller.
